I used to think that I was not creative; I used to think only a few were fortunate to receive the gift of creativity. How wrong I was. We are all born with it; we shall create the right environment, so it all comes out. First, we need to find what brings a smile to our faces, what inspires us, what fulfils our lives, what ignites the fire within us. Then we need to make sure that we keep the light going, by surrounding ourselves by people who will support our life journey. As the fire keeps burning, the transformation happens, ideas flow, and we blossom.
It is inevitable, and part of the process, that sometimes we feel stuck. And not always when we want it, the ideas come, only when the soil is ready.
In the past, I used to plan when to sit and prepare a workshop; now I know that it doesn't work this way. When an idea comes, no matter where I am or what time it is, I take a pen, and I start writing. Sometimes I am already in bed; sometimes, I am outside on a walk, sometimes I am driving and need to pull over and start writing notes.
Creative ideas come whenever I find stillness within me, when I disconnect from the mind dialogue, and not necessarily when I am sitting at my desk.
May you find what inspires and brings you bliss so you can share your beautiful creations with the world.
