Find your tribe
Meet Sara, my Italian soul sister and owner of Agriturismo Alberelli (where I will run Journey to the heart retreat.) The pictures that I am sharing in this post are from this summer. On that day, Sara and her husband took us on a 1-hour hike to the beach. Sara and I connected right away, we could be our true selves, no need to impress anyone or to pretend to be someone we are not. We chatted non stop, the conversation flowed so organically, I felt I had known her forever.
For most of my life, I have tried really hard to fit in groups of people I didn't naturally belong to, and that can be a very exhausting endeavour. Most of the time, I was feeling tired and exhausted, but I knew I would find my tribe. Some time ago, I put the intention and asked the Universe for like-minded souls to appear in my life, and the beautiful souls that have shown up are beyond this world, and all from different countries! I am beyond grateful for each one of them. A smile comes to my face when I think of them, as they are like a torch of light in my life.
We all have our tribes, and we all should be able to shine our light out, we deserve the best of the best! If you feel lost, that is ok too! There was a time when I felt lost also and lonely, and it is all part of the process until the right people show up. For the new crowd to show up, maybe you need to let go of some people, perhaps you need to put the intention out in the Universe of what you would like to manifest. What has worked for me too is being my authentic self, that works like a magnet! And will bring the right people next to you.
Going back to the day that these pictures were taken; I really enjoyed the walk through the woods to get to the beach, we even had to climb a tall fence! If you are coming on the retreat, do not worry, the gate will be open! Or we will take another path ;) When we got to the shore, we went swimming and then we enjoyed a lovely dinner in a local restaurant that offered home-cooked meals. Can't wait to take that walk again! And to spend some time with Sara! Who by the way, is a fantastic cook herself!
